About Michele and Laser Focus Tutoring & Consulting LLC
Laser Focus Tutoring & Consulting LLC believes that every student is capable of success. I work with families to enhance each student’s knowledge and proficiency in whichever subject they choose to master. Since 1997, my mission has remained the same- to address learning differences in each student by creating uniquely personalized experiences for every student. From Middle School (all subjects), ACT Prep, College Application Consulting, Biology, AP Biology, General Science, Organization, Study, and Executive Functioning Skills as well as grade/Homework monitoring, I have what your student needs.

​I have been helping students study and succeed in the classroom and beyond since 1997. My experiences as an educator at all levels of academia (Elementary, Middle, High school, and College) uniquely sets my services apart. I provide personalized academic support, meeting the needs of each child and family. High priority is placed on building confidence, organizational and study skills, and boosting grades. I work closely with parents and students to achieve desired goals with Laser Focus.
Michele's Background
Michele Benjamin has been an educator since 1997. As a certified teacher in the states of New York, Texas, and Kansas, Michele has taught middle school science, 9th grade science, Elementary level discovery science, High School Biology, and Higher Ed education classes at Park University. Michele was honored to be awarded 2001 Teacher of the Year for West Ridge Middle School in Austin, Texas. As a private tutor, she specializes in executive functioning help and time management for students with motivational and focus issues. Trained (many years ago) by the Princeton Review, Michele tutors in preparation for the ACT, SAT, and especially loves her time helping students and families navigate the competitive college application process. As a member of the Higher Education Consultants Association, you can be assured of Michele's professionalism and expertise. For the past 20 years, she has tutored middle and high school students in all subjects through 10th grade. In addition, she tutors in Algebra, Geometry, HS Biology, AP Bio, Anatomy and Physiology, and General Science. Michele has also served for four years on the Blue Valley Board of Education in Overland Park, Kansas, and has volunteered in Blue Valley schools for over 15 years.
